Rabbit Hole poster design

This poster of the film Rabbit Hole shows how promotional campaigns can both fulfill marketing demands and preserve the art of storytelling.

It has nine frames compiled with different levels of color grades. Yet, in spite of its complex montage, it grabs me for its simplicity and consistency in its message. Nine different faces on this picture that all belong to only one couple.

Similarly to Terry George’s Reservation Road (2007), the movie tells the story of a happy couple who has to face the sudden death of their son after a car accident. However, on the contrary to the latter, Rabbit Hole focuses on the couple’s relationship and how to recover from such a loss.

The film poster visually supports the tagline: going through different stages to finally reach acceptance.
